CARBO CHEF est une poudre de qualité supérieure, qui combine à la fois un aspect visuel recherché à une efficacité remarquable de par sa qualité d’adsorption. Il peut être utilisé en diminuant les doses par rapport à un autre charbon ayant une capacité d’adsorption moindre.

CARBO CHEF est produit à partir de combustion de coques de noix de coco. Après carbonisation et concassage jusqu’à l’obtention d’une poudre, une autre étape est nécessaire : l’activation. Elle consiste à soumettre le charbon à l’action de la vapeur d’eau entre 700-1100° C. Ce procédé permet le développement d’un réseau de pores plus nombreux et plus petits. Ainsi, plus le charbon va développer de pores ou cavités, plus celui-ci va être efficace : on parle alors de capacité d’adsorption. On la mesure en m²/g.

Celle du CARBO CHEF est de 2000 m²/g.Les grandes propriétés purifiantes et digestives du charbon sont connues depuis l’antiquité. Mais ces propriétés sont fonction de la qualité du charbon utilisé.
